Our Mission

There are over 2 million registered advocates in India navigating one of the most complex, high-volume judicial systems in the world. Yet, global legal AI tools fail to understand the nuances of Indian law—they hallucinate citations, struggle with state amendments, and have no knowledge of the BNS transition.

Vakilat was built with a single goal: deliver state-of-the-art legal artificial intelligence natively trained on the laws, procedures, and precedents of India.

Why "India First"?

Because Indian law isn't a plugin you add to an American AI model. We built Vakilat from the ground up focusing on:

• Accuracy over creativity: Law is precise. Our models use strict Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) against verified SCC, AIR, and High Court datasets. If it's not in the law, Vakilat won't say it.
• The New Criminal Laws: Vakilat is designed to bridge the gap between IPC/CrPC/IEA and BNS/BNSS/BSA, providing side-by-side analysis for the transition.
• The Ecosystem: Filing practices differ by High Court. Cause lists are found on eCourts. Vakilat integrates with the tools Indian lawyers actually use.
